· Shows sense of right and wrong through speech and action most of the time
· Attends school regularly· Gets along very well with classmates
· Work is always submitted on time
· Has not committed any minor or serious offence (School Cockpit)

Fair

Occasionally shows unacceptable behaviour -

· Needs guidance from teachers on behaviour
· Attendance is regular with occasional truancy
· Has occasional relationship difficulty with classmates
· Work is usually not submitted on time
· May have committed a few minor offences or a serious offence (School Cockpit)

Poor

Frequently shows unacceptable behaviour -

· Needs regular counselling by teachers on behaviour
· Attendance is irregular with truancy
· Has difficulty getting along with classmates
· Work is often not submitted on time
· Has committed either a few serious offences or multiple occurrences of a single serious offence (School Cockpit)



Victorians are also expected to help raise funds for the school and for the community. We do not expect every Victorian to raise a minimum sum, but we do expect that a Victorian commit himself to do his part for the school and the community.


FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

MOE Financial Assistance Scheme

Conditions for Award

1. Only pupils who are Singapore citizens;

2. Pupils from families who are in receipt of social welfare aid (heads of households on social welfare aid have an official registration card) or pupils residing in recognised welfare organisation homes;

3. Pupils with family income as follows:
- families with 1 or 2 children: $620/mth (Net) or $775/mth (Gross)
- families with 3 or more children: $720/mth (Net) or $900/mth (Gross)

4. The award comes with
- full waiver of school fees,
- waiver of 50% of standard miscellaneous fees,
- textbook grant.

5. Applications must be made on appropriate forms that are available at the General Office.


School Advisory Committee Bursary

1. Pupils who are NOT on any form of financial assistance scheme and are facing financial hardship can apply for this bursary. Pupils having difficulty paying for their examination fees could also apply for this bursary.

2. Awards will be limited to 20 a year and will be based on good behaviour and sound academic performance.

3. Application forms are available at the General Office and must be submitted to the Head of Department / Pastoral Care by Jan 31.


Other Sources Of Financial Assistance

There are other bursaries given by charity organisations, such as Lee Foundation, Rotary Club and various ethnic group welfare schemes. Pupils could apply for the bursary on their own or approach the Head of Department / Pastoral Care.
